I personally have never had an ovarian cyst but however maybe this may help I googled this info about it:
Most ovarian cysts are completely harmless, symptomless, and disappear on their own within a few months. However, In rare cases, they can become dangerous. Severe complications can occur if a cyst grows too large, ruptures, twists the ovary, or- very rarely – becomes cancerous.
