Tori bone is the bone under tongue. I have a very large tori and it is getting larger. Used to be able stick my tongue through it but now I cannot.
My dentist says I am in that small percentage ~ lucky me, not.
Once it touches together it will cause pain and can even pinch your tongue where you can’t speak.
I will have to have surgery eventually where they either shave it or remove completely. Oh my‼️

My side of the family always joke and laugh. It’s an easy surgery. I’m still good right now. I don’t even go back to dentist for a whole year but of course, if any problems, I would call.

Ohh, ok, u didn’t know we had a bone under our tongue. I always thought it was a Muscle that move the tongue. So what is wrong with your tongue or should I say the bone under your tongue?
My bone under my tongue is very large and growing. One dentist told me that it means I have a strong bite.
It is on both sides under my tongue and almost touching/closing together. It can clip your tongue then can’t talk or eat. Surgery will be needed eventually where they remove it.
