Improve Street Lighting in Our Community for Safer Nights
Every day, families, workers, students, and elderly residents walk through our neighborhood after dark. Unfortunately, several streets have dim or broken streetlights, creating unsafe conditions and increasing the risk of crime and accidents.
Good lighting is not a luxury — it is a basic safety necessity. When streets are properly illuminated, it discourages criminal activity, prevents falls and road accidents, and helps residents feel secure in their own community.
We respectfully urge the local council to:
Repair all broken streetlights immediately
Upgrade outdated lighting systems
Conduct regular maintenance checks
Install additional lighting in high-risk areas
