Do You Prefer to be a Conservative or Socialist?

I consider myself to be conservative.

It changes and evolves over time, there are somethings whereby I may have a conservative view and others a socialist view dependent on the topic.

I am definitely conservative.

I guess I would align more with conservative, but not in every aspect.

I prefer to be a conservative because conservatism fits better in a meritocracy.  I shy away from socialism because if there is equality of outcome for everyone, it takes earnings away from productive citizens in order to give to nonproductive citizens.  A hand up is one thing.  I don’t mind that at all if the recipient cannot provide for himself, perhaps due to a disability.  A handout is something else entirely and encourages a non-productive lifestyle.  Therefore, I am drawn to conservatives who strive diligently in honest labor so that they can support their families.

I’m for the greater good of the world. Maybe a conservative.

So it’s different in the UK it’s conservative or labour, conservative being the right and labour the left, labour is for the working families and conservative for the rich. So I am labour all the way.

I tend to be a little more conservative, but I am sort of middle of the road. There are good and bad policies on both sides.

This is a tough because it’s an “either ” ” or”  question.
