I’ll put it like this, there’s a few jobs I would never want to do. Sometimes, things happen beyond our foresight that we would have never imagine, have never heard of, or not even so much as thought of.
We all know the phrase all too well…
“Never say never.”
Right? Or we could somehow wind up doing those very things we said to ourselves we’d never do
Just sharing a reminder thought.
The jobs I’d never want to do are:
- Any type of Surgeon’s job
Not too often do I strictly get after myself for my mishaps. However, this would be one ideal job where i would, indeed, be my worse critic ever. Especially if I had to perform surgeries that meant life or death, I wouldn’t handle my failures well at all.
I’m highly sensitive, an empath, and tend to easily absorb the feelings of others. And having to break such devastating news to family members, I’m not built to simply walk away, I would stick around offering hugs and support and crying with them.
- A Mortician’s or Coroner’s job
Again, highly sensitive. I wouldn’t be able to endure the through the duties.
- A Plumber/Pipe worker’s job
Extracting gunk, being suited to stand in muddy smelly sewage, and unclogging you know what from toilets, pipes, etc. is not my forte. i have a strong stomach sometimes. At other times, it’s extremely weak. I simply couldn’t get used to doing a job of that nature on a daily basis.
Then having to come home smelly of different people’s….  Ugh! Never mind. I think you can gather where it leads to.
Oh, and one last job I wouldn’t want to do is the job of Animal Control Services. Especially not the one where they must go out and pick up deceased animals, because I wouldn’t want to guess what horrific conditions of dead animals that could cross paths.
Latasha thanks for sharing part of your life’s journey
My apologies, Jacqueline, for my extensive comment. Figured, I’d follow what’s advised and not give short answers. I’ll do my best to turn off my ‘Laskos’ much sooner for you from here on out. I appreciate your honest response.
Being a politician is the only job I wouldn’t do 🙂
I wouldn’t either Arthur thanks for sharing
I would also not work as a home attendant, not only for not being able to handle changing and feeds those elderly folks, but also the emotional aspecIt is depressing to watch their lives slowly ending. Also,I would also never clean windows for huge corporate setti gs no matter how good the pay,and fina.ly,the education system is also not for me.There are too many other opportunities to re a ort go being in a job you never wanted to do.
That was quite informative thanks for sharing Myriam
There are actually quite a few jobs I would not be willing to do.

You are most welcome Jacqueline
I would have to say working any job that is the title of cashier.
Thanks for sharing Kimberly
Is there one job you’d never ever do?
I would not work high up in the sky changing lights on poles, high up washing windows,
I wouldn’t either thank you for sharing Rosanna
I would never be a mortician. I used to fear dead people during my used. I didn’t want either to hear the talk about them. Nowadays that fear have subsided but still the job, No!
I have actually thought about doing that type of job.
I could never see myself working as an exterminator. Not only dealing with those strong chemicals to eliminate the infestation, but also having to have some kind of contact with those undesirable and hated pests.
Myriam thanks for sharing
I don’t think I could ever work underground; just the thought of being beneath the surface makes it hard for me to breathe.
I agree with I couldn’t either thanks for sharing Maria
Anything involving a slaughterhouse. I respect those who deal with that.
I couldn’t do that either thanks Andre for sharing
The jobs that I wouldn’t even do are the:Â Logistics as I’m not fond of lifting heavy weights, being a scientist, though I love science, and am never “in” to being a police informer or asset, as this is way too risky!
Thanks, Antoniette, for sharing
My pleasure, Jacqueline!.Thanks for posting the question and for the reply.
Yes. FedEx
Latarsha thank you for sharing
You’re welcome Jacqueline

Regarding a Surgeon’s job, I forgot to mention that I’d most likely stick around for the hits and slaps as well. I would feel like doing it to my own self anyhow for my failed duty of the life loss and their family members that would be counting on me. I feel in that situation, I’d have to take the bad the same as I would the good.
