The police most definitely need to be funded, but I think that they need to train them better.

Yes Phyllis, I understand you people keep on asking for more police in the city. But when we get more police what do they do, start attacking innocent black people going to work or day to day business just going about and the police only trouble them. I’m not saying all is bad, my Cousins is a police and his white friend and they are cool. But, most are very bad. If you asking me money can be spent elsewhere on school and hospitals

Jacqueline made an excellent point, stating that additional training is needed for them. Maybe, a special course in communication and training on how to treat people decently and not mistreat them, would help. Okay, David. I wonder, if the govt. can send billions of dollars across sea, then, surely they can afford to allocate the funds to correct this problem within the police force. That shouldn’t be a major problem. Someone, just need to step up and get it done quickly.
