U know dear, but as you mentioned that name in the conversation i just thought as a messenger i should mentioned it. And the name God, the full naame is shortened to only 3 letters God, but not the full name no one knows an less they do their research to know the full name. Anyway i won’t go on about the truth.
Ah, so my good research on the pagan origins of the New Year you celebrate are no longer the topic!
YHWH be with you 🙂
We also don’t call or worship that name Jesus, it’s not a African or Hebrew name, it’s a Greek name and it’s less then 4 hounderds yeas old, that name didn’t exist in the day with the disciples when our Messiah was walking on the earth among the disciples. Read the Book of Daniel, Read the Book of John as to confirmation to Daniel. We don’t worship any image. Your Christian are breaking the first Command and the third Commands by calling on that name. That name has nothing to do with the Almighty our Creator nothing to do with heaven it’s a man made religion Roman and Greek European. Not African and not of the Hebrews!! The whole world is Deceived my that Green name!! Read Matthew
Sorry, that doesn’t seem to relate to the conversation in the slightest x
, spending time w/family , eating a good meal & having a good time
that its over
Nothing at all I don’t worship pagan nor do I Celebrate any pagan Activities!!
New Year celebrations have been occurring since the Babylonians in Mesopotamia, although at different points of the year based on seasons and Harvest.
Our current date for the festivities was given to us by Caesar. After introducing the Julian calendar, he declared that 1st January would be the first day of the year. Partly in honour of Janus, the month’s namesake and Roman God of new beginnings.
The celebrations included sacrifices, sweet treats, the exchange of small inexpensive gifts, and much drinking and entertainment. Even the tradition of a new years kiss hails from these times.
Is celebrating New Year not steeped in Pagan history?
I believe you had a great night! 🙂
Being surrounded by family and friends, decorating, baking the cookies with the kiddos, and seeing their reactions is the best part about Christmas to me.
All the good things
Thank you for your answer
Just being surrounded by love ones is good enough for me
Agreed this is the most important ❤️
My favorite part of Christmas would have to be having all my family and friends around me. Because let’s face it I am to old to be receiving gifts. My mom stopped that when we turned 15. And before that we only ever got one gift well two but one was for me and the other my sister. Growing up we never had alot but I can tell you it makes you appreciate just to be alive. But boy when your a kid it doesn’t feel like that.
Oh yes and I love to decorate my home. Hope that doesn’t get anyone mad at me.
Decorations are the best
Wishing you a blessed time with your family and friends this year
Thank you
And you as well
I feel that there is no age limit to receive gifts.Even adults can get toys they wanted for Christmas when they were children. However, the holiday is beautiful and magical.
Yes ma’am it is. But for us it’s more so for our kids. And yes it is nice to receive but I get more out of giving. And most importantly it’s family and friends.
Time off work. Receiving presents and seeing others genuinely be excited to receive presents.
I’m already ready for my week off
I agree swapping gifts is awesome ☺️ And it’s so exciting when you know you’ve got somebody something they are really gonna love!
The Christmas lights, the decorating of the tree, the Christmas jumpers, the aesthetic of towns and houses being decorated for Christmas. Love it 🎄
In my neighborhood, some homeowners are already putting up Christmas lights on their property. The lights are nice.
Hello Cheryl,
First of all very important, I try not to get into any debate with anyone. Why because there’s no point it’s not my words that’s why. It’s the Father Our Creator words. I only share my knowledge with wisdom to try save who I can and to open their eyes. Read <span;>Isaiah. Read <span;>Ezekiel this may can open your eyes about thst three everyone dragging into their home and decorating it with Gold and silver. If I can remember where in the Scriptures the Bible – Isaiah or Ezekiel – if my spelling is also correct..lol.hehe. like I keep on saying to people it’s not me not my words there is no debate about it, it’s the Father Our Creator we words, no debate he us the truth and his words are true.
Ohh, your descended from Guy Fawkes! On my Paternal Grandmothers side? Wow, how amazing most people hate him, but I really admire him, history is my best subject at school and still is to this day. I learned everything about Guy Fawkes – lol, you spell it correctly – I think I spell it incorrectly..lol.hehe.
Thank you Cheryl for your interesting comments.
As long as other potted plants and lightbulbs continue to grace my home without summoning any demons, ill remain comfortable that my Christmas tree is ok
I appreciate your interpretation also, Thank you
Getting together with family eating hearty meals and talking about old times we shared also exchanging gifts makes times spent together worth while.
Thanks for you answer ☺️ These are the things I love most too
You’re welcome Cheryl
do the shopping for christmas and the prepairing the food
It certainly is a great time of year if you love shopping and cooking!
Thank you ☺️
Definitely the lights, I live in England and it’s so dark and cold this time of year that the little bit of brightness shining round when you travel brings so much joy 🤩 I love seeing an over the top decorated garden with my children and going to look at Blackpool illuminations is something we look forward to every year ❤️
That’s in my top few! When you’ve only got 7 hours of grey light a day and it’s dark at 4pm It cheers me up to see people’s lights too
Definitely dulls a grey night!
Yes, but Bonfire Night is nothing to do with any spiritual. It’s a man called Guy forks and a team of MP’s who wanted to bring down the Houses of Parliament. Actually I wish they did succeed we would have better policy’s and better laws and the poor would be much better off.
But, still having pretty lights around the house. And dragging that three into the house and Decorating it with gold and silver and lights. Is taking part in the performing of strange rituals as describe the Bible. Look, a lot of people don’t understand what and who they are making these performing strange rituals to its Demons. A lot of people don’t even know what that three is that they are decorating with Gold and silver is. They don’t know the true meaning of the three. Anyway I won’t go on and on. But, when our Father in Heaven our Creator return. I want to make sure that me and my family will make it into the New Kingdom Paradise and everlasting life. For rejecting the devil and all his demands Celebrations, and his holidays celebrations. Its all there in the Bible.
Gold and silver have never been good Christmas tree colours for me.
I once worked with a Jehovah’s Witness who got incredibly upset and offended when a colleague, in innocent ignorance, presented her with a birthday card.
I took a lesson then to always tread carefully around theological debate
On a fun note in appreciation of your other remarks, I can share that I’m directly descended from Guy Fawkes! On my Paternal Grandmothers side
Sorry im not a pagan Worshipper, so i don’t Celebrate it.
I understand I don’t treat it as a spiritual or worshipful time of year any more than I do bonfire night. So I can enjoy having the extra lights around and a day of family warmth without feeling like I’m performing strange rituals to ancient deities

My favorite thing about Christmas is spending time with the family, making cookies, cooking dinner.
