I am a gardener. I will be a gardener as long as I can, but so far it has been a long time and hopefully will continue for a long time.
Good to know you’re doing something you love thanks for sharing Judy.
I love running but getting slower with age
I know age does take its toll on you thanks Jean-Joyce for sharing
I enjoy listening to Luckscout bedtime stories.

I know there are some things physically that you may not be able to do as you “age” but you can truly still do a lot of things even in your elder years! My granny (who is now gone) was in her 70’s still doing yard work, dancing, playing board games, going for walks etc etc. My son’s girlfriend’s father is almost 80 and he still works on cars, bowls, works, does yard work, plays board games, dances and etc. Truly we may not be able to do what we did in our 20s/30s/40s if we are older (I am 43) but we can still do a lot of things as long as we take care our ourselves. Eating good, getting plenty of rest, water, exercise and putting your life in God’s hands! I can do a lot I have young children that need me to be able to run, play chase and run to football, volleyball games for a long time so I plan to stay in my best shape as long as God allows!
Definitely keep things moving as best you can!
Thank you LaShawnda for such positivity on the topic of age. I agree with you 100% you are never too old to do anything might be a little slow at it, but not too old to get it done thanks for sharing.
I guess one thing I’m too old for but still enjoy is staying up all night binge-watching shows. I definitely feel it the next day, but there’s something about getting lost in a good series.
Thanks for sharing Denise
My knee’s says they are old when I’m playing with my daughter. I still love to dance, play and wrestle. I still like watching cartoons. Playing dress up and allow my daughter to play with makeup to put on me.(A hot mess)
That’s nice Josie! It helps you to feel young even if your knees say otherwise! Lol
Thank you, Josie, for sharing
Lol you are correct. The joys of wanting to feel like you can still do the things you’ve once done with no problems. To now having to question yourself should you really be doing this? (I have a favorite line I would say to myself, it’s supposed to talk me out of doing certain activities but it doesn’t always work! I tell myself, “you’re gonna regret this later on!
Lol, I’m a big kidney sometimes very playful..lol.hehe 😛😜🤪😅🤪
Thanks for sharing David
Girl, let me tell you, age ain’t nothing but a number when it comes to having fun! Here are some things folks might think we’re “too old” for, but we still enjoy:
•Playing with LEGO bricks: Building with LEGO isn’t just for kids; it’s a creative outlet that many adults love.
•Watching animated movies: Cartoons and animated films can be just as entertaining and meaningful for adults as they are for children.
•Playing video games: Gaming isn’t just for the young; many adults find joy and relaxation in video games.
•Visiting amusement parks: The thrill of roller coasters and the magic of theme parks can be enjoyed at any age.
•Engaging in imaginative play: Whether it’s through role-playing games or creative hobbies, letting our imagination run wild keeps us youthful.
•Enjoying children’s literature: Books like the Harry Potter series or classic fairy tales can be revisited and appreciated with adult perspectives.
•Participating in arts and crafts: Activities like painting, knitting, or DIY projects are timeless and can be both fun and therapeutic.
•Swinging on playground swings: Sometimes, you just need to feel the wind in your hair and embrace that carefree joy.
•Collecting toys or memorabilia: From action figures to comic books, collecting can be a passionate hobby that transcends age.
•Dressing up for costume events: Whether it’s Halloween or a themed party, playing dress-up isn’t just for kids; it’s a chance to express creativity.
Embracing these joys keeps our spirits lively and reminds us that it’s okay to indulge in what makes us happy, no matter our age.
I agree there is nothing wrong with staying in touch with the kid in you as long as you maintain your adult responsibilities thank you for sharing Lakeshia
Right there with you Lakeshia!!
I use to believe in This phrase; We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.
Unfortunately my ankles have seen to my footballing days.
As this saying goes you are only as old as you think you are thank you Lee for sharing
Love that Lee! Makes you stop and think…
Watching anime/cartoons. A certain family member gets on me for that sometimes. I feel like what i’m “too old” for is letting someone else tell me how to enjoy life, family or not.
There is nothing wrong in staying in touch with the child in you along as you are doing your adult responsibilities thanks Andre for sharing
Playing uno with my godson and hide and seek with the small one 😂 its fun to play with the children
Nothing wrong with staying in touch with the kid in you thanks for sharing Anna
For me,it’s reading children’s books. NO matter your age, there is something about children’s stories that you can never leave behind.
Myriam that is so true thank you for sharing
I’m old but I love watching the older cartoons. Making snow angels and snowmen!! And definitely playing with the Barbies with my daughter and nieces!!
