If it cost the same, would you live in a mansion or a mid-sized house with a lot of land?

I would prefer a mid-sized home with land. Especially land with a mountain view.

I would live in mansion i love the way they look they are very unique than mid-sized house. I would not mind mowing the lawn and cleaning the whole house.

Yes I would live in a mid-size house, I wouldn’t need much land as it just me alone.

I prefer a small house, as long as it comes with a lot of land, ideally with a pond or a stream of water.

I would love in a midsize house no need for a mansion first can you imagine the cleaning OMG you would spend all you time just trying to keep it clean I say nooooo thank you to that I also think it would be a waste of space and you’d be kinda showing off on the other hand if you have a huge family like that show 19 kids and counting a mansion would be useful. For me just a cozy little bit beautiful would be perfect for me.

I would like a house by water. i live by a lake but need to walk down hill to get to it getting back up hill would be deadly for me emphysema and fibrosis is no joke

I concur with the most everyone here. A mid-size house and lots of land would be the way I would love to live.  Having lots of land around my house would make me feel like I was in a mansion.  Of course I would have to plant a lot of vegetation to screen it from any passer-by at the road.

If I needed to build more I could do, and I don’t really see the need to have much more house space than you require ☺️

I think I would choose the house with the land.  Land is becoming more valuable every year.  There is no more being created. LOL

I also realize with mid-sized land, the pricing is more affordable even if the market value increases. It would be more cost effective and minimalistic for me.

I’d probably lean toward the mansion. If the cost is the same, why not enjoy the luxury and all the extra space? You could have so many rooms, a pool, maybe even a home theater. It’d be fun to have all that room to customize and live in style. Though, I can see the appeal of having land too—it’s just that a mansion feels like a bit of a dream.

If it cost the same yes I would and would love to have the land because I like a big yard and smell of cut grass in the morning. Also it would have to be in a country setting with a pond for me to go fishing.

I would go with a mansion. Lawn/yard care would become an annoying chore for me, especially when I invite people like family over. Also, there would be less chances of scavengers around.
