Absolutely not. I believe that every single person has good as well as bad in them. If doing a bad deed makes you a totally bad person then we’d all be in a world of hurt. Making mistakes is part of being human I think that just comes with the territory. If we were perfect how would we learn. For me I used to think I had to be perfect and that has held me back from so much in life for fear of making a mistake or doing a bad deed as you said. But now I’m perfectly happy being unperfect. Just look at our beautiful community jam packed with unperfect people who all have made their fare share of mistakes but are the most amazing, beautiful and oh so good group of people I’ve ever seen. ♥️
P.S. This was a really good question.
It’s hard to say without knowing what the bad deed was. Sometimes people do bad for the good of someone or something. Which seem like a contradiction, but then not everything is black and white.

One bad deed doesn’t define a person. We’ve all done things we regret. What really matters is what you do afterward. If someone owns up to it and tries to make it right, that shows character. Being a bad person is more about repeated behavior and not caring who gets hurt.
That’s real love how you said it thanks for sharing your comment
No because no one is perfect. They have the choice to choose not to repeat the same bad deed again. It is up to them if they decide to choose a different path. God gives us all new grace and mercy each day.

Jacqueline you are welcome. Thanks!
It’s not the bad deed that makes us bad. It’s the sin nature that we inherited from Adam & Eve that makes us bad
Carl that is true!
anyone can do a bad deed and not realize at that moment in time that it is a bad deed. I think that they can always do a good deed and keep on the right track they will be fine.
A bad deed does not make someone a bad person. But the person must learn from the mistakes they have made. Of course the severity of the deed can make one think twice about how close they get to that person as you wouldn’t want jeopardize your own finances or freedom due to others actions.

You are welcome Jacqueline. It is a thought provoking question. One I have actually thought about more than I realize. It definitely involves forgiveness and patience.
No, I don’t believe so for we all make mistakes and hopefully, all learn from them. If it’s a pattern, then there is a concern and hopefully, seek help and reform. Plus, most important talk to God❣

As far as i know we all make mistakes so who are we to judge if they bad or not

No. a bad deed can not make someone become bad person. In that situation a person needs positive mindset.

while a bad deed can reflect poorly on an individual, it does not necessarily make them a bad person. Many factors, including context, intent, and personal growth, are essential in evaluating a person’s character.

If they’re aware of it then I’d say so.

After reading this last article written by Vahid, now I have to ask myself some different questions. If I do a bad deed to mean good for someone else whose to say it’s a bad deed. Is it a bad deed because of what the other person believes or sees. I think a bad deed depends on the situation. This is a deep question and thanks!

You are welcome!
I would say doing A bad thing is very different from doing a bad thing over and over. However, depending on what the one bad thing is this could definitely stain your character even if you truly are good. I do believe in mercy and grace. But also believe in justice and the law.
Thank you LaShawnda for sharing your comment
I don’t believe it does. It would depend on the gravity of the bad deed and the persons reasoning for doing it. They may not even realise that is a bad thing if they are simple or lack knowledge or wisdom.
That makes sense Kevin thank you for sharing your comment
Doing a bad deed doesn’t necessarily make someone a bad person, it depends on the situation, circumstances, people involved and other factors sometimes not in our control. Almost anyone (not everyone) can change, and as someone said about bad people can and do good deeds sometimes! Great question Jacqueline 😊

Almost everyone does a bad deed sometime in their life. The deed is bad, the person is not in most cases.

I think people are complex. I think good people can do horrible things. No one is ALL good or bad.

I think in the short term they are. But in the long term I think they can make amends and redeem themselves as a good person

I don’t think one bad deed makes a person bad. We all make poor choices and learn from them.
Agreed

I like morality questions. One bad deed could come from multiple possibilities. However, I think doing bad deeds could pave an unwanted road. We all have different interpretations of good and bad.
