Yes, I once witnessed what I truly believe was a miracle. A close family member was critically ill, and the doctors had little hope for recovery. We had prepared ourselves for the worst and spent days in prayer and emotional distress. Then, against all medical expectations, their condition suddenly improved overnight. The doctors couldn’t fully explain the rapid recovery. Today, that person is alive, healthy, and living a normal life. It taught me that even when situations look impossible, hope should never be completely abandoned.

I think we experience miracles every day. When we open our eyes every morning when we breathe. When the sun comes up or goes down. When the moon comes up or the stars in the sky at night. How a baby develops in your belly how are hearts keep beating and we breathe while we sleep. I have had things go what I thought was the most devastating things happen and when I look back, they were nothing short of a miracle, but at the time it sure didn’t feel like one. I think that sometimes when we are going through such not-so-great things it’s really a blessing in disguise I think that miracles are not always the sun shinny rainbows and butterflies that we hear about. It just doesn’t feel like that in the moment you’re going through it and believe me I have to remind myself on the daily writing this post was a reminder for me. That is a miracle in real time.

Nothing major but I did win $100 from a scratch off a few weeks ago. Hopefully it’s a sign of things to come for my family.

I was on the Jersey turnpike at around 1a.m. it was pouring down rain. I was about 5 months pregnant. I had hit a bump in the road and my car had started spinning in the middle of the road. We skidded and spin towards the rail, other cars on the road. We didn’t hit nobody or anything. The car spun to a stop into the direction we was heading too. Other drivers asked if we was okay and we kept going with no other incidents for the rest of the night of driving. Just a whispered prayer got us through that.

I experienced a miracle the day I narrowly escaped a serious accident. I was supposed to be at a particular place at a specific time, but something delayed me unexpectedly. Just minutes later, an accident occurred exactly where I would have been. When I heard the news, my whole body went cold. That delay—what seemed like an inconvenience—ended up saving my life. Since then, I truly believe that sometimes protection comes in ways we don’t immediately understand.
