Ohh, no, you keep it in a cage, my African Gray Pirate was never in a cage, he just fly from room to room freely and doing his business all over the place. So much cleaning up behind him..lol.hehe

Yes, some are funny like that, if they don’t like a person they will bite. They have to get use you and that can take time be for they except and trust you.
I have been around for years, and this bird likes when I say “Help me Rhonda, Help me Rhonda” It will bop up and down when I sing “help me Rhonda”
I have been known though to walk past it in the cage and say “HaHa”

The Eagle is my hubby’s favorite bird. When we got a house together, he hung a bunch of Eagle pics. I had to tell him that we are not having Eagle pictures in every room, lol

My girlfriend, who just passed last week, has a McCaw and it has bitten me twice‼️First time, I was holding it and all of sudden bit my finger really bad‼️Second time, it was in the bathroom, and I didn’t see it and bit me on my shoulder but didn’t bleed that time.
I had birds when I was young one, but I think they are all messy. Too messy for me.

Yes I do, the African Gray Pirate is the best speaking pirate is the world. You can almost have a clear conversation with it. I used have a African gray pirate. They have excellent memory.
