Still, one persistent question might come to mind:
What if I cannot achieve financial freedom? What if it’s out of reach? What if it’s not possible for me?
Negative thoughts never leave us alone. Fighting them doesn’t always silence them. The only way to truly overcome them is by replacing them with empowering, positive thoughts. Fortunately, when it comes to achieving financial freedom, it’s easier to maintain the right mindset if you stop obsessing over the outcome and focus instead on the journey—something I explained in detail in the article I recommended above.
Even if you don’t achieve financial freedom in the true sense of the word, simply being on the journey toward it will still reward you with many things others don’t have. For example, even if you’re saving money with the goal of starting your first passive income project—like buying a property to rent out—but you never quite reach the point of launching that project, you’ll still have built up savings that most people don’t.
That’s why Norman Vincent Peale wisely said,
Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.
It doesn’t matter whether you eventually achieve financial freedom or how long it takes. You will get there—as long as you don’t give up or stop halfway.
What truly matters is that the pursuit of financial freedom will teach you valuable lessons and give you things that are just as meaningful as financial freedom itself.
So, let’s remind ourselves—now and every single day—that we must stop obsessing over the outcome. Instead, we should focus on the journey and take it one step at a time, every day.
As I recommended in the article above, just aim to do things a little better each day. Improve by just 1% daily, and when you reach a point where it feels like you can’t improve anymore, keep the momentum going. Stay consistent.
You’ll reach your destination sooner than you can imagine.
