I’m sorry for the sad question but I am curious to know how others deal with this situation. I used to deal with death by drinking but I am trying to find a healthier way. My father-in-law (I am his caregiver) is on his last day’s so it will be nice to hear from others how they grieve
I am very sorry about your Father-In-Law. I had to go through this in February. My sister, who I was very close to, passed away suddenly from a massive heart attack. I don’t know if I will ever be the same. I have cried a lot, spent time with other family remembering good times we shared and each day I just keep putting one foot in front of the other and moving forward the best I can. If you believe in God, pray for strength and believe that he is going to a better place.
That is one thing that you cant deal with it takes time for some people its so easy to get over n loved one who past away and for others it takes longer for me it takes +-11years to get over my husband death its only n matter of time to get over it
Thank you for your wisdom and sorry for your loss
Melissa, my sister I am so sorry for your loss. Grieving is a thing that is very different for each person. One thing that helped me when my sister died suddenly was that I had to simply, speak about it openly. I shed a few tears in a room full of male colleagues months after it happened, thinking I was going to be okay but I broke down. But I DID feel like I shedded a load. I felt much lighter. This, and accepting that she had her time, and now her spirit, her energy, must move on to its next journey. Death is a part of life.
Much love🤎🤗🙏🏾
Thank you and sorry for your loss as well. I appreciate the beautiful words ❤
