Not trying to start a political debate, just curious as to personal opinions on the latest events in the US. What was your opinion on the Trump birthday parade? Did you think it was a show of power and a waste of tax dollars, or did you think he deserved to be celebrated the way he wanted to be?
I personally thought it was a waste of resources and taxpayers’ dollars; however, the “No Kings” protests were pretty amazing to witness. It’s amazing how people can come together and protest something they think is unfair and still manage to do it relatively peacefully.
Waste of time, money, and resources on a worthless embarrassment of a president.

Thank you for your response. I didnt watch it either but when I was out shopping I saw protesters from the “no kings” rally which was pretty awesome I also saw a lot of both on social media while I was at work that evening.

Thank you for your response, Declan. No, it is not traditional, it’s a man trying to exert power of the people and have the taxpayers pay for a celebration that should be held privately. A parade, much less a military parade, should be held for someone with real accomplishments
