Not trying to start a political debate, just curious as to personal opinions on the latest events in the US. What was your opinion on the Trump birthday parade? Did you think it was a show of power and a waste of tax dollars, or did you think he deserved to be celebrated the way he wanted to be?
I personally thought it was a waste of resources and taxpayers’ dollars; however, the “No Kings” protests were pretty amazing to witness. It’s amazing how people can come together and protest something they think is unfair and still manage to do it relatively peacefully.
Everyone deserves the right to a birthday celebration ( we can’t/shouldn’t deny anyone that privilege ). I’m neither against it or for it but Happy Birthday Mr President 🥳
