Let your legal consultant i.e estate agent, lawyer etc for all the hard work and you concentrate on getting everything you need to sort out prior to moving, so selling furniture, toys, clothes and other clutter you don’t need or want anymore, keeping the place presentable for prospective buyers and looking for your new home
Selling a house can definitely feel overwhelming, but you can make it a lot less stressful by breaking the process down and getting prepared. The first step is to get your home ready for potential buyers by decluttering, depersonalizing, and making small repairs and cosmetic upgrades like a fresh coat of paint to maximize its curb appeal. Once the house is looking its best, the most crucial step is finding an experienced real estate agent with a strong local track record who can help you set the right price by conducting a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA). The correct price is key to attracting offers and avoiding the stress of having your home sit on the market for too long. When your house is officially listed, work closely with your agent to handle showings and be ready to evaluate offers, paying close attention to contingencies like the home inspection and appraisal. By preparing early and leaning on the expertise of a professional, you can navigate the entire process with much more confidence and ease.
Hi Dianna I am not sure about your country. When I sold mime here in UK. I did not have any stress at all. My agents did everything for me. It was an online agents called Purple Bricks and they have their own solicitors so everything went on smoothly and quickly. The first person to view the house gave a me an offers straight away.
Hi Dianna, you mention dealing with your realtor is stressful, maybe you should change realtors? A good realtor should be helpful and work to ease your stress, not increase it!
I know that showing a house can be stressful, trying to keep everything neat and in order when you never know what day/time the next interested prospect might show up. Consider only showing it on certain days or during set hours so you always know when to expect it.
You might try finding helpful tips online too if you haven’t already.
I wish you the best of luck in selling your home Dianna! Try not to stress too much and know that hopefully soon it will be behind you and you can move on to happier, more relaxed days. Much love and good vibes coming your way my friend 😊
