I’m in the middle of selling my house and my stress level is through the roof. From the showing of the house to dealing with realtor and the As is company. I’m open to any and all segestions. I try to find a positive in any situation but this one is hidden pretty good and saying “come out come out where ever you are” isn’t working lol
I have been involved in a number of home sales, all stressful. Make sure that you get all of your questions answered. Ask for a report after each showing so that if there are any comments made that can help you with the next showing, you can implement them. Make sure that you not only keep the inside clean, but also the yard clean and the grass cut. I have seen so many homes around here that sure look messy outside. Don’t be at home during the showing, that makes the prospective buyer nervous. Sometimes though I would go to a friends across the street and I could see what they looked like and how long they stayed. Make sure the house smells good inside. Flowers are also a nice addition.
Selling a house really is one of the most stressful things someone can go through—you’re not alone in feeling that way! A few things that might help ease the process:
✨ Lean on your realtor (or company) for clarity. If something doesn’t make sense, ask them to slow down and explain. A good realtor should be your translator through all the legal and financial jargon.
✨ Set boundaries with showings. If constant showings are overwhelming, see if you can schedule blocks of time rather than feeling like you’re always “on call.”
✨ Keep a checklist. Writing down each step and crossing things off can make the process feel less like a whirlwind and more like a series of manageable tasks.
✨ Declutter your mind, not just the house. A simple walk, music break, or meditation—even for 10 minutes—can lower that stress spike and give you back some control.
✨ Remember your “why.” Every time it feels like too much, remind yourself of the goal: the fresh start, the new chapter waiting once the sale is complete.
You’re handling more than most people realize, and even though it’s hidden right now, the positive is in there—it’s that freedom and peace you’ll feel once this is behind you. Hang in there, you’re doing better than you think. 🌸
Sending you tons of Love and Light ❤️
Selling or buying should not be stressful. I suggest a good real estate agent and let her know how you feel. Your stress level with details and your time frame.
We sold our house within a week or so, and the buyer had cash. We didn’t have to do a lot of paperwork or go to bank. I give the credit to our real estate agent❗ We had a really sweet young lady, and she really did all the work. We had a very good relationship with her, she felt like a friend. She was very patience with us too❗
I wish you Good Luck❣☘
