I like parsley, oregano , rosemary,
You are most welcome Kathryn. Happy new month
Saffaron rice with eggplant stew 😋 👌 I learned this recipe from online its a Iranian food 😋😜
That sounds AMAZING! Eggplant is surprisingly versatile, kind like tofu that it soaks up whatever flavors are around it. Thanks for sharing, Ildiko!
Your welcome
I don’t use anything fancy just basically salt and pepper and miss dash because I have to watch my intake of seasonings and what I eat.
Thanks for sharing, Jacqueline! I hope you can experiment with other spices to help you find some that agree with you 🙂
Too many questions, let just say Baking, i like to use mix spices and cinnamon. Let’s just start with that when it comes to testing a good cake or pie!!
Spice cake is a favorite of mine as well! Thanks for sharing, David 🙂
Local scent leaf
Thanks for sharing Stephen! I don’t think I’ve heard of that, could you elaborate more, please?
My favorite herbs to cook/bake with are garlic and onion.
I like onion flavor, but not texture. Garlic we can’t enough of!! Thanks for sharing, Lynette!
I use Bay Leaves, Chives and Paprika the most.
Kathryn, I think cilantro tastes soapy at times too❗
The most European country using this spice
Rhonda, I used to love cilantro, but I think time has changed my tastebuds. It makes me so sad. Great selection of spices too! Smoked paprika is a favorite too. Thanks for sharing!
I love to cook with epazote.
I have not heard of that before, but I just looked it up and it looks so neat! I’m not sure we have that in the US, but I’m going to keep an eye out for it now. Thanks for sharing, Maria!
I’m loving working with basil, rosemary, and thyme right now! Basil adds this amazing freshness to Italian dishes, while rosemary brings a herby depth to roasted veggies and meats 🍴. Thyme is so versatile – it works wonders in soups, stews, and even baked goods 🍰.
I totally agree, Kelvin! We have a small herb garden, and we’ve using a lot of rosemary, oregano and chive right now. Happy cooking!
You sound like you really know your herbs, Kelvin! Thanks for sharing 🙂
I using all of the herbs 🌿 🤪 for cooking or baking 😋 but my favourite is saffron which is a special flower 🌼 🌸 in one of the Asian countries I love to used for food and baking
I have never used saffron, but I want to! What is your favorite recipe to use it in?
I think & like basil, rosemary, thyme, oregano, cilantro, parsley, mint, dill, sage, and chives each adds unique flavor to savory or sweet dishes.
We don’t usually cook with mint, but it is a good one to use! I can’t do cilantro anymore because it tastes like soap to me (which stinks because I used to like it). Thanks for sharing, Ethienne!

Delicious choices, Virginia! Thanks so much for sharing!
