🚨 Ban Masked Offenders on NYC Subways
Every day, millions of New Yorkers rely on the subway.
Students.
Nurses.
Workers.
Parents.
But many riders feel something has changed.
Incidents of assault, harassment, and repeat offenses make headlines. When suspects are repeatedly arrested and released — and can conceal their identity in public spaces — trust in safety erodes.
This is not about ordinary riders.
This is not about medical needs.
This is about accountability for repeat violent offenders.
New York cannot afford a system where public safety feels optional.

• Prohibiting identity concealment for individuals charged with violent subway-related offenses while under active investigation or probation
• Stronger enforcement against repeat violent offenders in transit zones
• Transparent reporting of repeat subway-related arrests
Public transportation must feel safe again.
