“Time” has been a big mystery for humans. Even one of the most intelligent humans who has ever walked on the earth, Isaac Newton, had a wrong impression about time. He thought time would always move forward and its speed was constant. If you asked him who created time, he would simply say “God”, as he had no other answer. Humans are used to giving that answer to all questions that they have no answer for, whereas they could simply say they don’t know. Any time that they have no answer or proper explanation, they use “God” as a way to get rid of thinking and giving a proper answer. By the way, what do you think about time? Does it really exist? Is the time speed always constant? Does it move only forward? Can it be stopped? Give a good answer and become rewarded! 😀
Note: No religious discussions or answers please. This question has nothing to do with any religion or holy book or God. Thank you!
I had promised to answer my own time question. So, here it is:
Does Time Move Only Forward or It can Move Backward or Even Become Stopped?
To answer this question in detail, it needs hundreds of hours. But, here is a too short answer:
Even some of the most intelligent people who have walked on the earth, like Isaac Newton, thought that time only moved forward with a constant speed. But, Einstein proved that whatever humans knew about time was wrong. I must repeat that Einstein “proved” what he said. He proved everything he said with math formulas and on paper. I had to say this for those who might say what Einstein said is an unproven theory. No, it is not, otherwise they wouldn’t give him the Nobel prize in physics.
So…
1. Time doesn’t move. It is a dimension. It is already there. Past, present and future are already in place. We move, not time.
2. When you move physically in space, your speed in time dimension becomes slower, and vice versa. It has a reason but I won’t explain it here, just to keep my answer short.
So, you can move in time dimension slower or faster.
Later, scientists proved this with experiments, using atomic clocks and in high speed jets.
3. If you live in another place in the universe, you can see my past or future, depending on your speed and your movement direction. If you move toward me, you won’t see my present time, and your time makes an angle with my current time, and so you will see my past. How far you go to my past depends on your movement speed toward me. If you move to the opposite direction, and so you go far, your present time will make an angle with my present, but from the other direction, and so you will see my future. How far you go in my future depends on your speed in this case too. In both cases, your movement angle is also another effective factor.
Only when you don’t move at all, which is impossible because your planet, star and galaxy move, will you see my present.
4. You move faster in time dimension when you are far from the center of gravity. For example, astronauts who are rotating around the earth in a circle that is 800km away from the center of the earth, move faster in time dimension. It is the same with satellites’ clocks. That’s why the GPS system has to consider this time movement difference, otherwise they cannot give us directions at the right time when we are driving.
5. In blackholes, time stops. Physics laws won’t work in blackholes.
That was a very short explanation just to answer the question. Everything I said is proven. They are not theories. So, the conclusion is:
Does Time Move Only Forward or It can Move Backward or Even Become Stopped?
Time doesn’t move. But we can move backward and forward in time. Time can be stopped too.
Please note that this answer has nothing to do with any religion and holy book. You don’t see these things in religions and holy books. This is just pure fact and science. Please don’t mix any God or religion with my answer. Thank you!
Your comments and questions are most welcome!
I love you all!🙂❤️🌺🌹
In #1″Past, present and future are already in place.” What’s mean by that? Is it future of ‘everything’ or just a ‘dimension’ too?
(I am wondering because many believe in so called ‘destiny’ ?)
Thank you for sharing answers.
Thank you for enlightenment.
I also noticed that this question is attracting many viewers. Kudos to luckscout community.

I think I may have said this in an earlier answer but, time is perception. For each person it can stand still, reverse or go forwards. If I look the same as I did 10 years ago, did that mean that MY time stood still? My answer vahid, is YES to all three! Show me the points!! 😂😂😂🤪
Hi Kevin,
You are so close to the correct answer 😀
You somehow talked about a very important scientific theory about time, although you didn’t mention the name of the theory. I will give you the prize, if no one else gives a better answer than yours 😀
Thank you!🙂❤️🌺🌹
Wow! Thank you Vahid! I had no idea I was speaking of a particular theory but I looked it up as soon as I saw your response and I found this:
The study of time perception or chronoception is a field within psychology, cognitive linguistics[1] and neuroscience that refers to the subjective experience, or sense, of time, which is measured by someone’s own perception of the duration of the indefinite and unfolding of event. C/o Wikipedia
My original answer was just my own logic.
Thank YOU!♥️
Yes, I know you post your answer from your own mind 🙂
Just to give you a clue, this topic has nothing to do with psychology.
I believe time is different for all of us. I believe time does not go backwards just forwards. I do think time is connected to our emotions, happy fun times make time go by quickly and sad worrying times go by much slower. Our Time as a child is slower, we are full of wonder and happiness and as we age time seems to speed up life is more complicated or we just see it way. I think time does exist for we have happy times Sad times and times to look forward too.
Time is a concept that measures the progression of events and is considered to move forward ,However there’s no scientific evidence to support the idea that time can move backward or become stopped unless you believe in science- fiction where you can built a time machine , otherwise it’s not irreversible or stoppable..
Wow! So many great answers! My two pennies: Time is perception. We only(nowadays) know about time because someone designed a clock and said this is time and this is how it is measured. Before the clock people used sun dials and the so-called rising of the sun and the moon and the charge of the seasons. But we’re they measuring time or just surviving and existing? I think that what we perceive as or,call, time is moving forward. But because of our limited intelligence, we cannot know for certain that it cannot be stopped or reversed. Check this, we are born and know nothing. Then learn as we grow. Then we get old and forget things, become dependent on others, just as a child. Is that time reversing? We can return to school as an adult to retake the education we either messed up or never took as children. Is that us reversing time on an individual level?I don’t think we can give a definitive answer, just one that may resonate and sounds right among a group.
I believe that time exists because life exists. Time explains why we age, why our nails grow, why the sun rises in the mornings and sets at night. Why I’m sitting at the computer answering this question. Everything happens through the passage of time. Without time, there would be no life, no existence, nothing to move things forward. Time is constantly moving forward. As often as I wish I could turn back the clock – to rewrite an exam, for example, or to walk away from HyperVerse before investing a dime – sadly, it isn’t possible. Unless we can figure out a way to change the relationship between time and space, there is no going back to fix our mistakes. As much as we’d like to fantasize about it, there’s no going back to high school, knowing what we know now. Everything moves forward, not backwards. We all experience time in the same way, all synchronize our watches in the same way, no matter where we are in the world.

Thank you for a well-educated explanation.
