For some people and communities, it’s still seen as a big deal, tied to ideas of purity, morality, or even religious beliefs. But in many places, especially more progressive ones, the emphasis on virginity has shifted, and there’s a growing acceptance that it’s not a defining factor of a person’s worth or character. Instead, things like consent, mutual respect, and healthy relationships tend to be more important considerations. So, in short, it matters to some and not so much to others
I think pressure is a play at whether or not a person gives up their virginity. I would hope my children and niece and nephew keeps their virginity until they find the one they would want to marry and spend the rest of their lives with. It’s up to the individuals to accept the consequences of their actions.
Women should be virgins until they are married. If you have sex before marriage it’s called fornication. If you are married and have sex with someone other than your spouse it’s called adultery and both are hated by God. By the way our bodies don’t belong to us. God created us. Our bodies belong to God. I said women I mean men also.
