Yes, virginity very well still matters the same. The levels of mattering and it’s importance regarding virginity that has changed, are those of the people living in the now.
However, levels of importance and the mattering of rules/commands doesn’t change a bit. Nor do they shift gears or abide according to the way society decides to evolve, or because times regarding human ways, errors, practices, laws, theories, or whatnot may differ, repeat itself, or not change at all.
That of which has already been set into place accordingly, fairly, justifying, and righteously long before we humans knew what an opinion was, will still remain the same as so it is in the now present, as so it was then in the past, and as so it will be thereafter in the future to come.
Honestly and in all truth, it being the current situation that they are, one should remain a virgin if they don’t plan on or decide not to marry. On the other hand, one give up their right to remain a virgin after they’ve married, because part of the marriage contract is to engage in sexual intimacy; it’s part of the deal and both are forbidden to withhold or deprive their body from the other.
Why? Because once married, your body belongs to them and their body belongs to you. Period.
Neither one gets to override the rule, making up their own. They can try and think they do all of the time in today’s society, but consequences & discipline follows, whether they recognize it to be or not.
We are temporary renters of what we consider to be “our” bodies. We don’t own anything ourselves, including the skin we’re in. We didn’t create it and give it to ourselves, so who are we to steal the invention rights?
The same manner in which we’ve obtained “ownership” of assets on this earth: land, a home or homes, a vehicle, gold, silver, stocks and bonds, etc. and immediately & involuntarily release ownership after we’ve kicked the bucket because it’s impossible to do so, is the same type of “ownership” we have over our bodies. We reside with deception a around us and should refrain from being easy targets to be fooled.
I guess we could think of it as having partial ownership, meaning we aren’t allowed to do whatever we want to it, whenever we want, especially not after the “house” rules have already been set & agreed upon for us to abide. Our job of partial owner is to follow the rules as they are. That’s the best decision we get to make, aside of the ones we shouldn’t decide to choose, but do in these days and times.
Remember, our bodies were given to us for free, as a temporary loan since we can’t live in them forever, along with rules already attached that we’re supposed to come into knowledge thereof and follow.
And yes, we’re free to bend, break, and tweak the rules to our likings. However, the second attachment that came along were the consequences for our freedom of choosing to do otherwise, or rather making the choices that aren’t good at all.
The rules aren’t made to cause any harm to no one. They’re actually the opposite, and they’re what’s the absolute best to protect us. Doesn’t get better than best. Yet, freedom can be disguised as beauty, too.
Therefore, don’t get mistakenly caught up in mesmerism. Those disguises includes man’s point of view, which is often blurry, and tailored to the likes of what people prefer to hear, contrary to the truth. That’s the setter, and once you’re trapped, there may not be an escape.
GREAT question! When i was young, It didn’t matter in the concern of men and teenage boys, we were always encouraged by friends and even some elders that you should hurry up and ‘pop your cherry, ‘, no reason given. For girls and women, it was viewed by most as a sign of purity and innocence of they were still a boron going into marriage. Maintaining virginity was spoken of but not practiced in most cases and people were ostracised either way. I soak from my experience of those who were around me as I grew up. I think it is still important but today’s society makes it difficult.
The concept of virginity can be a complex and deeply personal issue that varies greatly across cultures, religions, and individual beliefs. In some societies, virginity is still highly valued and considered important due to cultural, religious, or social norms. However, in many modern societies, attitudes towards virginity have evolved, and the importance placed on it has diminished for various reasons.
It’s essential to recognize that views on virginity are subjective and can differ widely from person to person. Some people may still attach great significance to virginity for personal, cultural, or religious reasons, while others may not view it as important at all. Ultimately, the value of virginity is a personal matter, and individuals should make decisions based on their own beliefs, values, and comfort levels.
Yes man you have said it all. Thank you.✌️
Does virginity still matter? why even ask this question?
well to me honestly I really think this is disrespectful, rude question. who ever asked this question it’s really none of yours or any other person businesses if someone is or is not a virgin. this is my own opinion. not trying to sound mean.
Everything to do with sexuality will always matter. People do not live the way people are supposed to live anymore and morals and values are out of the window now a days. I have done everything in my power to teach my children the importance of virginity and sed and everything that goes with it. It is not just a thing. It is a big part of who you are and it is totally disgusting how most women give their selves away to whomever whenever. That is not acceptable. I’ve taught my daughter’s that it is not cool in any manner form or fashion. So yes it does matter and always will.
For some people, it may be. But for most people, it doesn’t matter.

I still matters. I think it’s better to wait for the person you’re married to then go for it.
It matters to God and it should matter to anyone who follows God. But, having said that, in this day and age, it doesn’t seem to be that important. God word is fir our own good. His ways are higher than our ways.
Hello, Its not matter of virginity. It shows your respect, dignity and character. In this world still virginity matters allot. It is big deal when we talk about marriage. No matter how the modern world claims to be. The society still wants virginity while getting married. It can be cause of embarrassment for male and female both. In my tradition virginity is like a symbol of women character. But somehow now in modern world some people they don’t care about all this. But we have to respect each other’s emotions and feelings.

I took this very seriously when I was younger. It was an honor to me. Not something to just throw away, and give to anyone. I waited for a very long time. I earned so much more respect from others because of this as well. I believe it’s a trait that is being forgotten about, and it’s very sad that it’s not being taught to the younger generations anymore. Self respect is very important, and now people just want to follow these crazy trends and try to stand out by being accepted. I definitely plan on teaching my children the importance of self respect, not being taken advantage of, trying to be cool and following trends do not get you anywhere in life! I want them to be strong, and know their worth!!!!

Great answer, thank you brother.
