What’s your favorite story about your grandparents?

My grandparents are nice and lovable making sure I always eat and they don’t allow my parents to beat me

How they are so nice to their grandchildren and everyone around them, in fact I really missed out

My Nanny and Pop were from Iowa that is where I remember them talking about my dad and my aunts and uncles and them raising their children. They lived a simple life.  Nanny would sew and clean and cook read. My Pop was a broom and wood maker and the 2 of them were just so kind but I lost both of them when I was a teenager.

How they met in a roller skating rink.

My grandmother loved to talk about her school days.  She walked many miles every day regardless of weather and carried her lunch (usually biscuits) in a tin bucket.

My maternal grandparents were and still are the “cool” grandparents to this day. My Favorite memories involve food and pool parties.

My favorite stories are the ones my grandparents tell of me when I was a little girl. And my favorite story about my grandparents is how they met and feel in love had 6 kids and were married for 55 years until my grandfather passed away 4 years ago and now we just greatly honor his memory.

I used to sit with my granny for hours and we would just chat and giggle. She taught me lots of crafts and how to crochet as well.

My great grandmother used to watch me and she’d always make me a yummy breakfast. Or she’d go out with her golden girls and I’d tag along. We’d get breakfast at the Hardee’s, and they’d all do their grocery shopping. It was so sweet! We’d watch cooking shows together as well. She always had candy and treats stashed all over her house. I’d sneak around and get into them, lol. I miss her! 💗
