I love Christmas and the excitement, magic, and spirit it brings. I hate putting it all away! But, I put it away and clean up a day or 2 after new years. My 4 year old came home from school very upset! Saying, “Where’s my tree?” I felt horrible!!! But, it will return in a year!!!🥰
I like the cheerfulness decorating for the holidays brings, too! I am like your 4-year old. It almost has to be taken down when I am not looking or it might be up longer than I care to admit.
Yes, it’s funny how some people transform their trees for all the different holidays around the year. That’d be awesome to do if it didn’t take up so much room!

I always like to see decorations on new years eve and new years day. It is kind of like getting a second Christmas celebration.
We take the Christmas decorations down 7 to 10 days after New years.
Thank you Jorg! I am actually seeing Christmas lights on houses still!!! I kind of like it because once these lights come down, it will be dreary until spring.
We live in a remote area we are all alone most of the winter, till spring then we start to see neighbors again. I like the quiet it’s somehow comforting to me.
That sounds very peaceful! I like a little bit of the city life with a view of the city and all of its lights and a little bit of the country life with no less than 5 acres (or more) between me and the closest neighbor. I have always been that way.

We take ours down after January 6th.We put them back up in the middle of December.
We still have ours up but we got it up late this year. I am still enjoying it anyway.
I really do like the lights and the decorations.It is a beautiful feeling.

We leave them out until after New Year’s. If my wife didn’t complain they would stay up longer.
I like to keep mine up as long as I can. I feel like I can enjoy them more after the holidays are over.

I should have a better schedule for ours, but the weather hasn’t been very cooperative.
