When I grew up my father punish me with a spanking. He would always tell me that this will hurt me more than you which didn’t make sense because I was the one getting the spanking. But when I grew up and had my own kids I understood what he meant. I had to punish my kids even though it hurt me to do it.Now days many parents don’t discipline their children so they grow up

with no respect for authority for their parents or anyone. To answer your question I think it’s biblical to apply the board of education to their behind. Hope I didn’t offend anyone.

Firm but fair, I think. I grew up being disciplined with a spanking or two but nothing excessive. We spanked our children but more of one slap on a hand when necessary,  which would normally be enough, especially if they weren’t listening! With so much influences on TV and social media, some of the old ways would be useful but even society is against parents which doesn’t help us…
