When I was around 14, I had my first job while visiting family in El Salvador. We got stuck there because of this crazy snowstorm, and our flights got canceled, so we had to stay longer than we planned. While we were there, I met this lady who lived next door, and she was a family friend.
Turns out, she ran this little market from her home, selling all sorts of stuff like juices, sodas, chips, Icees—you name it! She did it to make ends meet, you know? So, I asked her if I could lend a hand, and she was surprised but said yes. It ended up being pretty fun, and it gave her a chance to catch up on other stuff she didn’t have much time for.
I got to meet a bunch of cool people and learned a ton about hard work and helping out. She was really sweet and super grateful for the help, which made me feel awesome. It really showed me how much I enjoy lending a hand to others. Overall, it was quite an unexpected adventure! 🛒💼
You’re welcome!

Great story. Thanks
