I think it really depends upon the information you are keeping and what kind of affect it could have on others. Some things are better left unsaid.

It will depend on the situation and see environment. Some secrets are good to keep but some are good for open up with one of your best friend or trust people.

It would depend on what is the scope of the secret.There are some that are very personal.Also there are that could have an impact.Like,if someone has committed a major crime like fraud,or embezzlement,that does not stay hidden.Especially if they are looking for a job and don’t mention it.In this time we live in, ones actions are in the computer database.

It depends on what the secret is and why you need to keep it. Sometimes if someone has entrusted you with a secret then you should keep it.

Secrets are not bad things if some of them have to be kept. Mark you some of the times you don’t have to go round, washing your dirty linen in public. Somethings you need to keep to yourself or either with your spouse.
