I agree with Mai Yang who answered cooking class for a few reasons:
- There’s a huge difference between a Cook and a Chef.
- There must exist a strong desire to cook, whether it’s one’s curiosity, for one’s enjoyment, because one likes to experiment with cooking, or because one like/love to eat.
- Cooking is something taught at home or by a family member outside of home. Too, trial an error aren’t so embarrassing.
- People cook in different ways, different styles, tastes, and different likes when it comes to food.
Maybe Basic Cooking could be taught in school such as: how to boil water, how to boil eggs, how to make a pot of rice, how to make toast in the oven, how to brown toast in a stovetop pan, how to boil noodles, and probably different measurements.
For me personally, Public Speaking was a waste of my time. I could see it not being a waste if the class was for the purpose of overcoming stage fright, with everyone catered to motivating their peers. But it wasn’t. I’ve always feared speaking in public in front of an audience. A special kinda nervous comes and take over my steering wheel and then drives like an insane road raged maniac.

I agree with you
