Do we have control over technology, or does it have control over us?

It controls humanity…. How many kids nowadays do you know that plays outside instead of being cooped up inside on video games, How many adults do you know who can honestly say that they can live without their cell phones or laptops? If you answered less than 1 then you have your answer.

It doesn’t have control over us except we let it and majority have decided to let it.

I think it controls us

Technology does have firm control over us, especially the younger ones.

What a good question. ATM, I would say ‘WE’ are clinging on to control over technology by our finger nails.

It will continue to control us for better or for worse. Mark you, this point we have got into, technology controls almost 80% of what we are doing. Tell me. Which entity does not use computer or computerised thing at this age. I totally agree, we are being swayed by these our gadgets.

We have control over it, or we should. I know it is an addiction for some.

I think it tends to control us.  When we hear a ding or a chirp or some other specialized notification sound, jump right to it and see what is going on on our phones.  If we turn down the notifications and step away from the cell phone, they won’t control us like they do now.

It controls us especially the youth.
