Start with the Basics. Begin by explaining fundamental concepts such as budgeting, saving, and the importance of living within one’s means. Help them understand the difference between needs and wants, and encourage mindful spending habits.

I would say, even if you don’t make much money, whatever you are able to save, even a few dollars at a time, just start early and make saving a habit. Compound interest over many years will turn that few dollars you save each payday into a very large nest egg over time.

I would tell them to spend wisely to pick and choose what is most important when spending money and most importantly to save for a rainy day.

to save money for the days when they will need it the most and dont waste money 

Inform them that most of what they earn should be used to pay part of debts they may owe,budget by using the amount needed for transportation,food and other necessities.Also to put away a percentage for banking and investments.
