With wood stove or furnace only on winter?

A wood stove is probably a better choice but unfortunately I live in the city. So, I have to use a furnace.

We had a wood stove growing up and a heat pump now. Give me a heat pump any day, it keeps the house a constant temperature all day and night and it is clean heat.

We used wood stove some 30years ago but in the village. Now only what I can use is the heat bulb. 💡

Growing up my grandparents had a wood stove and it was so cozy.
