I don’t have to go far, since I live 10 minutes from the beach. I feel lucky to live so close, it’s so relaxing to have a beach day.

My grandparents owned a caravan here, spent endless hours there during holidays and summer time. We would always go to Culzean castle country park, see link below. So much to do there, beaches, parks, castle, woodland walks. It was brilliant

On vacation somewhere really nice if possible. But, since most places with beautiful beaches and weather are more crowded in the summer; we tend to go in September or October.
In the summer the only way to get a good spot at the beach is going there very early and planning a day before.
It’s a great atmosphere there. I been there only once though.
