Do you prefer to own or rent your home?

I would rather rent to own. I don’t mind renting now because it is all that I can do for now but ultimately I want to own a home.

I would like to own a house and have a backyard.

I prefer to own. I feel like i have something at the end of the day instead of hust something for the moment. It gives me peace of mind to know i have a place to live that is mine.

I prefer to own my own home one day. Currently a renter. I believe there are pros and cons to both renting and owning. After renting for a year for a 2 bedroom, I realized that I have spent about $22,000-$24,000 on rent for one year and that not including other expenses. I live in South Florida and I know everywhere is expensive but MAN! I rather spend that much towards having something I could call my own.

I have a rented home but I would prefer a owned one

I am renting right now. I’m working on buying a house though.

I cannot complain, as it is rent free right now . Hopefully in the future l will own my house after studying

Personally, I prefer owning a home, than renting a home, because this gives me privacy, and there’s freedom to whatever I like to do in the house.

Right now we rent but I’m hoping in the future we be able to buy our forever dream home and be home owners.

I’d prefer to own, I’ve been thinking about looking into rent to own options also

although there is independence that comes along with ownership its also binding. less flexibility to move around, cost in upkeep, etc. id say at this point in my life definately rent!

I think that if you have a family & children, it is safer to have your own house. If you are alone and like to have freedom, you can rent without being bound by a mortgage contract for 20 years.

I prefer owning. I can have someone maintain the lawn so that is not a worry. I am mortgage free, and I love not answering to anybody.

We own ours. Mortgage free!! You can do what you want and have all the pets you want.
