I cannot stand bullies!
However, I would have to assess the situation, first. You never know what issues are actually involved in people’s lives these days. A lot of people will get mad and possibly try to harm you, many times teaming up with their own bully, for trying to help them. I’ve seen it happen to on several occasions, more than I probably should have.
You must pick and choose your battles wisely. You don’t want to end up brutally injured or even worst, attempting to be someone’s hero that swiftly chooses you as an enemy the moment of your intervention, with things transpiring out of control at the blink of an eye or at the snap of a finger.
When possible, try to observe the situation, if you can. Though it may not always be the case, you want to kinda know some details of what’s happening.
However, either way, I will always consider someone a hero who willingly risks themselves for the sake of others no matter what happens.
You all here, will always be counted as brave honorable heros in my book!
No problem. Yet, instead, thank you so much for your kind rating of my answer. Thank you much more for enjoying it. Your compliments means so much that I cannot describe with words alone.
Will you walk away or intervene if you see someone getting bullied?
It will depend on the situation, if it seems that it is okay to meddle without putting myself into danger then I will intervene, otherwise it is appropriate to let the proper authorities to settle.
So true
I always say something. It jumps out of me before I can even think about it. It bothers me on deep levels.
One time I embarrassed myself at Walmart. I thought one employee that was management was bullying a lower level employee and I said something. Their response was “ma’am, we are only joking around”.
I was so embarrassed.
its in blood unfortunately get right in the middle of it. im pretty sure it is a shock factor perhaps cause im not all that tough but ive stepped right in the middle, of guys usually, more times than i can count and it seems to end them or atleast make another guy feel like he should help. just cant let something like that go on..surprised on how many people are on the sidelines with phones out instead of helping out. and yes…dog fights. its so dumb but what can you do?? im aware i guess of the possibility of injury (you dont feel until later anyway) but thing is you act, you dont sit by and let things play out until someone or thing is so badly injured and if i had sat by i couldn’t forgive myself. worst ive gotten was a broken finger…thats getting off pretty good i think from what i feel like could’ve happened.

That was beautifully well written. I enjoyed reading this. No one should charge right into any situation without thinking about the possibility of a situation escalating. When in doubt get help. Thank you for commenting.
