I’ve come into knowledge about freewill and know that it was given to all human beings and all angels by Almighty God. So, yes, I believe in freewill.
I’ve also come into knowledge that Almighty God IS the Power behind fate when defined in terms of being a “power” that controls all things and events, and humans inability to control or change the way things will occur. Therefore, yes, I believe in fate as well.
Almighty God allows freewill by giving it to us, letting it run its course. He sets forth fate by already having been established, (prior to humanity’s existence), the power set in place much further away from our (humans) starting point, ahead and pass beyond our present time.
That’s a profound perspective, Latasha. It’s interesting how you see free will as a gift from God, allowing us to make our own choices, while also believing that fate, guided by God’s power, shapes the larger picture. This balance between personal choice and divine control is thought-provoking. Have you found that this belief influences how you approach decisions in your life?
I appreciate all of yall.
Thank you, Larhonda, I appreciate you more!
Thank you, Ronald, for your informative response! I really appreciate you!
And Heidi, girl! How are you! To answer your question:
Absolutely! I have found that it influences my decision-making in life for the better! It has also kept me from getting ahead of myself on several occasions. I’d be at a point where I’m about to speak on a matter, thinking I knew it all at that moment, but instead, kept quiet because I FELT the need to do so with sort of a force of, I’ll say, self-discipline holding me in place. I’m glad I’d chosen wisely versus me making myself appear foolish. Therefore, over the years, I’ve learned to approach situations in my life a lot more cautiously and not be so quick to decide things unconsciously and without given way to thought. Doing so has also calmed a ton of worry and the effects that occur when I become ridiculously nervous that the anxiety beast gives off through its roars. So I’m thankful and grateful for that. Me being uncontrollably nervous can be summoned up into two words; Hot & Mess!

Yes, this so true. You will always reap what you sow. If you sow good seeds you will have a good harvest but if you sow bad seeds then you will have a bad harvest.
