In my opinion I feel like we waste a lot of food just in my state alone, N.Y. (U.S) restaurants throws away massive amounts of food that could go to families (unless it was spoiled then I understand). Nursing homes I have worked in, massive amounts of food thrown out, that could of gone to homeless people. I feel like if businesses/restaurants know that they are going to throw the food out especially at the end of the day, give it to those who would appreciate it.
