Yes, I’ve learned that while going through any hardship, it is so, so, so much easier and better to remain positive, keep the faith, and put the worry on the back burner. Keep reminding yourself that things are okay, it just SEEMS rough at this time, and that someone else is doing way worse than yourself.
That’s the time to think of people who are going through so much more roughness than you are. For instance:
- Small children that are starving
- Small children that are starving and working to care and provide a meal for their even younger siblings because their parents are deceased
- Small children who are forced to live in ridiculously filthy living environments, no luxurious commodities like sinks with running water, flushable toilets, fridges to store perishable food items, etc.
- Children and people who are dying from starvation and atrocious diseases, viruses, and other illnesses
I guarantee that the duration of the hardship always, always, and always becomes shorter unexpectedly. It has never failed me once, and it feels spectacular to be surprised when the breakthrough arrives!
Yes. The sin of substance abuse has been an eye-opening experience for me after loosing a lot of important things in my life because of it.
Hopefully you are doing g better now. Today is a new day. Drugs and alcohol dependency and addictions are such a bad problem in our society. Thanks for your answer.
Yep. Doing better for sure. It’s just something that needs to be under control these days. Thanks.

Thank you for your answer. Childhood trauma and experiences can definately cause us to make choices because of what we’ve been through. I’ve been through some trauma as a child and I have empathy for anyone who also has had to deal with this.
