I think there’s actually no need for me to apologize when I’m right, so that the offender will know that he did wrong, and for him to apologize instead, but if he/she never apologizes, then I think I should say to him: ” Oh, I’m sorry, or “my apologies”, to remind him that he was supposed to express to me those words instead of me, and he has just to have a common sense.
Not necessarily especially if I’m right. But if I hurt someone feelings in the process of proving me right. Then I will apologize for that.
