This does make for a tricky kinda question, as well, as I thought a bit deeper and read over other individuals’ comments!
Credited to one commenter here, Monica (no photo; commenting under someone else’s comment response) Here’s another prospective on the matter, making a very valid point on.
A lot of people jump ahead immediately to conclusion that they’re automatically right. Besides a an obvious situation: pick the apple🍎 out of the two, an apple an orange 🍊 and apple 🍎, then of course, you’re right when selecting the apple 🍎.
However, as I’ve stated before, depending on the situation, what makes you or me right? Who determines whether you’re right or I’m wrong depending on the situation at hand? Not everyone perceive or receive messages, phrases, comments, etc. in the same manners, but instead in different limelights.
People are hooked on expressions, especially those that mean the opposite of what its true definition, for instance:
“Nasty!” This word in today’s modern world is considered a slang term, is used quite often, and geared toward something good about someone or another thing in particular or something cool about someone or another specific thing, such as:
- One who’s well-dressed
- One’s cleverly written words
- One’s outstanding performance
- A clean and shiny Blueberry Ferrari
- A model’s walk down the runway
If a question was asked between two people, such as this:
Questioner: “So, Person 1, what did the car look like when the celeb drove up, got out, and stepped onto the Red Carpet?”
Person 1: “NASTY!”
Questioner: “Person 2, same question.”
Person 2: “I saw nothing filthy or nasty about the vehicle. It was so clean that it literally had sparkling twinkles beaming off of it. Not a spec of dirt!”
Therefore, one must give thought to focus on the entire picture instead of zooming in on one particular area of the picture, and then ask themselves, first:
“How can what I deem as being right be misconstrued for being wrong or interpreted in a negative manner?
The other person could very well perceive what you deem to be right as offensive, negative, or maybe even wrong. If you’re unable to think of anything that could make what you say seem negative, wrong, or offensive, then it would behoove you to allow the other person to enlighten you about some things that never crossed your path. At least it would help you to open your mind and extend your thoughts a bit further with the possiblity of helping you get ahead at mentioning things before things you say may be taken out of context.
I do believe a lot of times people do take things out of context. I also believe that things that are taken out of context, do however occur for rarely huge considerate amount of time, as well. Usually, that of which is taken out of context is negative or of negative behavior. There’s plenty of evil and wicked in the world we live in and we mustn’t be oblivious to them. Nor should we force ourselves to ignore them.
If we embrace them, not in the sense of loving or having love for evilness and wickedness, rather accept their existence, we could be better prepared to deal with and handle them accordingly, because they will eventually come our way.
Unfortunately, many people’s intentions are centered around those two candidates. So, if someone happens to bring to your attention new ways known to you that could be the intentions of others, accept that they could be right and that it never crossed your mind because it definitely was beyond your reasoning.
This makes those situations in particular fairly even. No one’s absolutely right, no one’s absolutely wrong, yet the both of you or whomever is that much more knowledgeable, made aware, and a bit more wise.
Of course! Thank you for those beautiful words, Anthony! Truly inspirational! Have a wonderful remaining week!
