Losing money is no big deal, compared to losing memories. Memories should always be memories, and it’s so hard to let go of these. Losing a memory may take a while or may be forever. While it’s only a matter of patience and hard work, in order to get the money back, in case we lost all of it
Thank you very much Zachery, for the selection, and thanks so much too,for posting this unique question. I appreciate it.
I would prefer to lose the money. Memories, good or bad, they are still memories. I want to hold on to as many memories as I can, because one day I may not have that opportunity. If I could choose any year to remember memories. I would pick a different one than this past year for sure. Then it would definitely be hands down to keep memories over the money.

I appreciate the diverse perspectives shared by everyone. There are no definitive solutions, and all opinions hold value. I commend the thoughtful responses provided to the questions. My gratitude to all who contributed.
