Yes, I have but it always better to be honest. But you don’t have to be brutally honest to get you point across. It better to go with an answer based how you feel and what you learn from the past, so you could move forward in a better way. It’s better to live with no regrets, life is more peaceful that way.
Yes, it just happened to me last Tuesday. I
have been recruited to help set-up prior for meetings & activities with the Macon County Republican Women. The title is a Rosie. I knew she was going to ask and planned to tell her no, but she asked three of us to form a huddle and she asked all three of us at the same time. It is only once a month ~ supposedly. 💃🏻
Hundreds of times! I guess I’m a pushover lol, I hate to hurt anyone’s feelings so I usually say yes even if I really don’t want to. That’s probably the biggest thing I wish I could change about myself! Thanks for the question ☺️
You’re welcome Mary and thanks for the great question ☺️ have a wonderful evening!
A few too many times actually. I am often too nice and that has gotten me taken advantage of. However, I am learning that it is important to put up healthy boundaries and it’s perfectly okay to say no sometimes. We can’t do or be all things for everyone and that’s okay.
That’s absolutely right. Setting healthy boundaries to avoid taken advantage of too often. Thanks for sharing.
Hello Mary,
Yes true I really understand you. I’m just a kind person. But not stupid I always give a person a chance to break one leg, then that it no more I wouldn’t get them a next chance again to break a next leg, if you understand my meaning? I will give only once and if I can’t trust that person then I will never help them again.
Thank you Mary for your understanding and you are very welcome 😘💕
Yes sometimes if I don’t want to waste my time to discuss with the person or about something
Lol. wow…that giggled me up
It’s easy to accidentally say “yes” when you really meant “no,” especially in moments of distraction or under pressure. It can happen when you’re trying to be polite or avoid conflict, and then later realize that you should have declined.
its seems saying ‘yes’ is to get the person off your back. hmmm that unexpected pressure
Yes, sometimes I say yes, then later I regret saying yes when I notice the person is taking advantage. When I know I should of just say no. But I always give people a chance.
When people take advantage of our kindness, it just shows their behaviour and we should create healthy boundaries. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I can absolutely relate to that. Thanks for the honesty.
