There is definitely absolute truth because it’s true just as Jacqueline mentioned, and cannot be changed. Truth can also be subjective as well, which then becomes the truth of only that individual and no one else.
We must remember that facts aren’t always surrounding absolute truth.
For instance, it is a fact that Kimmy was taught all of her life that the letters B-L-U and E when put together was pronounced “Yellow.” Kimmy knows it to be a fact, when in fact it isn’t true.
The same goes for factual evidence in the courtroom during a trial. It could be very well a fact that evidence of one’s DNA was found at a crime scene. Does that, in fact, make that person guilty of the crime? No, it doesn’t!
Truth is that the person who’s being accused never set foot on that particular scene, is innocent, and is being framed for the crime committed by someone else.
Fact is defined as a thing that is known or proven to be true. Facts are considered man-made. Just because a thing is known to be true doesn’t make it absolutely true, now does it? Certainly not. Mankind, as well, have underhanded and deceiving ways of proving things to be true, when they actually aren’t.
Therefore, there is a way to be sure if facts that we were taught to be true really are or aren’t.
First, remember that all facts aren’t necessarily true. Depending on what it is, do research of our own from a number of different sources and be wise enough to discern what is what or what’s not. More importantly, sincerely and wholeheartedly ask Almighty God to reveal what it is you’re seeking and He’ll never fail you!
