Here in the USA, Poaching is the illegal killing or capturing of wildlife, which is generally considered a criminal misdemeanor. As per IFAW ”Wildlife crime is one of the largest criminal enterprises in the world. Poaching, which is one form of wildlife crime, is one of the biggest threats many animals around the world face.” Many countries are very strict on poaching especially when these animals are extinct. Some of the examples include but not limited to elephants and their tusks; rhinos and their horns; lions and their teeth/claws/bones, and etc…
