I must say that I do believe the earth could be flat, if that’s the manner in which our Creator would have wanted to invent it.
However, my belief is that the earth is round as a circle is round. If the Sun orbits around earth, rising from its resting place in the east and setting in the west, returning back to its same place of rest, then I would imagine that being difficult to occur if the earth were flat. In order for a thing to go around something else, that something else has to be in a form that gives off the ability for a thing to go around it.
How can the Sun return to the exact same place it came from after beginning its journey by heading in a direction opposite of where it was resting, if the earth wasn’t round but instead, flat?
The Sun would have to reach it’s destination, and then go back in the direction it started from to return to it’s resting place, if the earth was flat. Not to mention, it travels in only one direction everyday from start to finish → from east to west from east to west from east to west from east to west.
Just because it makes more logical sense for the earth to be flat from a human’s perspective regarding there being “ends” of the earth, doesn’t mean that it doesn’t make even more greater sense that there exists ends of the earth because there’s a universe, a sun, a moon, stars, etc. that exists on the outside of the Earth’s atmosphere that makes their way around earth’s still position.
Earth is the center of the Universe and was set in position, stationed on its pillars, hanging from nothing in mid air, so that it could not be moved, and the Sun, Moon, and Universe revolves around the earth. That description is inspired by Almighty God Himself. He made NO mistakes when describing that of which is of His own creations.
