The trade war between America and China is complicated, and I see it as a situation that impacts both countries in big ways. It’s not just about tariffs; it’s also about control over tech, manufacturing, and influence on the global stage. America and China are two of the world’s biggest economies, so when they clash, it ripples out to other countries too.
On one hand, I get why America would want to protect its industries and tech advantages, especially in areas like AI and semiconductors. China’s growth in tech has been major, and America wants to make sure it stays competitive. But the tariffs and restrictions can end up making things cost more for everyone, and they can even slow down tech advancements when companies can’t easily work across borders.
Then there’s the impact on people’s lives. Companies are caught in the middle, and workers feel it. Jobs, product prices, and even supply chain issues can all come out of these trade tensions. And it’s not like either country is backing down anytime soon, so it’ll probably keep shifting how the economy works. So, there’s a lot of layers to it, and in the end, regular people end up dealing with the ups and downs.
Hey there! Thanks for sharing your perspective.
You’re right in saying the back-and-forth with tariffs and restrictions does end up making things more expensive, and a lot of American citizens feel that in their day-to-day lives. When countries raise tariffs or block imports, it can increase costs all the way down the supply chain, and in the end, regular people end up paying more. And yes, some countries are looking to China for business because of lower costs or less red tape.
But at the same time, there’s also this angle of America trying to protect its own industries and tech security. They’re worried about things like intellectual property, technology competition, and keeping certain jobs in the U.S. It’s like they’re trying to play defense but maybe going about it in a way that’s hurting everyday people along the way. So, it’s true America has its own issues it needs to work out to help its citizens and strengthen the economy without overdoing the restrictions.
Appreciate the insight, though—working directly with Chinese manufacturers definitely gives you a close-up view of things!

Hello Lakeshia,
I hear you yes when America start tariffs restrictions and increasing tariffs high cost on China AI and products, no other countries will export to America or buy or do business with America. You see America is killing their own industry and economy. And the citizen of America is suffering with high living costs. The is nothing to do with China, and China is not responsible for the high living costs in America. Its America is the real problem for just for its own country and people but for the world. Anyway I make money working closely with the Chinese manufacturers. America is only shooting themselves in the foot, China is doing very good, many countries no longer want to do business with America they are all looking for China to do business with now.
Thank you Lakeshia for your thoughts!!
