Yes we should have freedom of speech as long what you say does not compromise someone’s health or safety.
I agree that serious threats and the like shouldn’t be ok! We are having legal limits placed on expressing political opinions, or simply hurting feelings, this I think is too far. Thank you
Yes the uk does feel quite suffocating with what you can and can not say, even online. I think it’s so important to be able to say what you want and what you believe is to be true. Nobody should have to hold in their beliefs because it could upset somebody’s feelings.
Especially this! I can’t understand this new mentality of thinking the police should be informed if your feelings are hurt

I think freedom of speech is very important but sometimes dangerous.
I suppose it’s the same as all debates about sacrificing freedoms for safety.
We are suddenly not really allowed to express many political opinions without risk in the UK, it’s not a pleasant feeling!
