I don’t mind learning about history but it’s not a super passion of mine. I think it’s more important to look to the future then the past.
Thank you It can be unwise to dwell on the past. But in the words of Winston Churchill, Those that fail to learn from the past are doomed to repeat it! ❤️
As a school child,I hated history because I could not see myself in what was being taught. Bless them, my parents didn’t make a thing of teaching us history, or we couldn’t be bothered to listen at the time!
But in my later years, I have started to look into my family history, the land of my parent’s birth history, British and colonial history, African and even some religious. It’s highly fascinating!
Yes I find it fascinating all the different versions of events and clashing stories you can find. I find it incredible how history apparently changes from time to time and things that have been one way for generations all of a sudden are now in fact a different way and we must now believe this instead. I love doing my own research and finding the truth, the world is an amazing place and it’s history is too regardless of which source you choose it from we’ve had some incredible times and some tough times but where we are today is exciting!
I started from when i was at school, and from then i just keep doing research fromm when i was very young. History has always fascinated me. I knew more about all history then my history teacher. I used to tell my teacher about Oliver chromewall – if my spelling is correctly.lol Parliament went to. War with King William the first. And the King lost his head. That’s one ot my best part of England history. Every now i still learning and doing research. On history. And Bible history Ancient history.
I was blessed with a talented history teacher who knew everything about the Wars Of The Three Kingdoms!
I always favoured English and US history when I was younger.
His passion influenced my love for the subject and lifelong desire to continue educating myself greatly. He could talk about any period of history from the perspective of all sides without bias or judgement, it led to a diverse class having the most incredible and respectful debates in many lessons!
The last decade my research has been much more specific, in areas such as the history of the banks and currency, the military industrial complex, and allopathic medicine. It’s taken me through the centuries and around the world, although with a narrow focus.
Biblical history is an intense study! I have only ever watched documentaries so I admit my knowledge isn’t extensive.

The History of the United States has always been an appealing one for me, such an incredible story and so much to study for a country so young.
I haven’t given much ancient history as much focus, but any time I have it is always the most fascinating by far!
