I’ve been trying to go to all natural remedies for just about everything but the last few days I’ve had a terrible toothache and everything I’ve tried isn’t working. If anyone has any ideas I’m ready to try it. I’m really not wanting to have to take all the chemicals they put in medicine these days so any suggestions would be awesome
Toothaches can be tough to deal with naturally, but here are some remedies you can try for temporary relief:
1.Saltwater Rinse: Mix 1 teaspoon of salt in a glass of warm water and swish it around in your mouth. It can reduce inflammation and kill bacteria.
2.Clove Oil: Dab a small amount of clove oil (diluted with a carrier oil if needed) on a cotton ball and apply it to the painful area. Clove has natural numbing and antibacterial properties.
3.Garlic Paste: Crush a garlic clove into a paste, mix with a little salt, and apply it to the affected area. Garlic fights bacteria and may ease pain.
4.Peppermint Tea Bags: Soak a peppermint tea bag in warm water, let it cool slightly, and place it on the aching tooth for soothing relief.
5.Cold Compress: Apply a cold pack to the outside of your cheek for 15 minutes to reduce swelling and numb the pain.
6.Hydrogen Peroxide Rinse: Mix equal parts of 3% hydrogen peroxide and water. Swish it in your mouth, then spit it out (don’t swallow). This can help with infection if there’s swelling.
7.Turmeric Paste: Mix turmeric powder with a little water or coconut oil to make a paste and apply it to the sore area. Turmeric is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial.
If these don’t help and the pain persists, it could be a sign of a serious issue like an infection or abscess. In that case, a dentist visit might be unavoidable. You could always discuss natural options for treatment with them, too!

Hydrogen peroxide has done wonders for me with tooth aches. swish it around for 30-40 sec
