I say yes, but I can only speak two languages.
Actually, English is my first language. Took 3 years of Spanish and had family so I learned a lot of Spanish growing up. In Spanish the H and U are usually silent.
In a lot of German words, the “h” is silent. It is the only letter of the German alphabet that isn’t exaggerated. So now I question whether it is silent or just not pronounced with a lot of ummpph.
Awesome Dawn! Thank you. Maybe it’s a European thing?

Thank you Kimberley. So, apart from English, which silent letters are in the other language you speak?
